Privacy Policy

This page runs one petition and stores one thing: the signatures on it. There is no advertising, no analytics profile, and nothing is sold.

What is collected

When you sign, this site records your first name, last name, and email address, along with whether you agreed to sign and whether you asked for updates.

It also records a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user agent string. Your raw IP address is never stored. The hash exists to stop a single connection from flooding the petition with fake signatures.

How it is used

Your name is used to record you as a signatory. Your email is used to contact you about updates related to this petition, and, if you opted in, related campaigns. Your information is not sold and is not used for anything unrelated to this petition.

Where it lives

Signatures are stored in a Postgres database hosted on Vercel, which also serves this site. No one else receives a copy.

Removing your signature

Email REPLACE-ME@13secondsinbuffalo.com from the address you signed with, and your signature and email will be deleted.
